Garage Sale Madness!

Ok - not only is this the coolest garage sale ever (cue the free hot dogs) this is probably the biggest garage sale in Monroe this weekend. My sister just had a garage sale, so she brought it all over in a big trailer.. So, tonight the garage sale grew to a driveway/garage sale! We gained a bunch of furniture - a rocker, two bunk beds, tons of boy and girl clothes (1 yr. i think), an entertainment center, a vanity (i think) with a mirror, books, 2 old school desks (retro-sweet), a riding lawn mower (needs work), xbox games: nhl rivals, tony hawk4, nhl2k5, links, crimson skies, halo2, rainbow63, sims, nfl fever 2004, mxUnleashed, Call of Duty. Games are $5 each - the xbox is $85 and comes with 3 controllers (one wireless), headset, etc. A couple artist easels, a few kids bikes, a weed whacker and more. Don't forget to ask for your free rejx (punk band from pittsburgh) c.d.

I'm considering blogging while the garage sale goes.. I would be the first ever live blogger from a garage sale.. ever.

This website has been a pretty good success! Thanks for the emails, and sorry if I didn't respond to everyone. Please stop by and hang out. I'll try and remember to brew up a large pot of coffee in the morning - and of course, hot dogs will be ready!

Remember that Dunbar Road is closed - you will need to take Dallas - which is off of Monroe St., across from Crafts 2000 - and next to Sauer Furniture. Hang a left on to Dayton, and follow the signs.

We're still in the process of organizing the items for the sale, but I do know of a few things off the top of my head that I figured I should post (pictures to come!): Xbox with several games, controllers, etc. Fender strat guitar, tons of punk rock CD's, posters, magazines, records, etc. Large coffee table, pressure cooker and lots of other kitchen items, baby clothes/toys,etc. Lots of books, knick knacks, odds and ends - something for everyone. As I begin to get things mor organized, I'll begin to post pictures and list other items. See you there!

Welcome to my first ever garage sale website. I thought it would be an awesome idea to post pictures of items at the garage sale to give you a preview of what's to come. You probably noticed that I haven't given my address yet. I'll do that next week. I had a garage sale a couple years back, and had tons of people showing up ahead of time to look through my stuff. I'd rather everyone wait until Friday morning. If there's something you see on the website that is a must have, contact me at the email address in the right column. If you're not familiar with where Dayton Rd. is, it's just off of Dunbar near S.Monroe St. Dunbar is closed right now, so I'd suggest taking Dallas Rd., which is right next to Sauer Furniture. I'll have a sign down there when the time comes. I will be posting more information as I get things organized, so stay tuned.
